Gazprom SC AIT Facility LLC is a commercial establishment that carries out its activity in the field of design, assembly and testing of space equipment. The Company was established by Gazprom Space Systems JSC and Gazprom PJSC via the Charter capital of Gazprom Investproekt in August, 2015 in order to implement the project of the Spacecraft Assembly, Integration and Testing Facility (SC AIT Facility) creation aimed at the creation and development of satellite constellations in favor of Gazprom PJSC and other qualified prospects.
Construction of the SC AIT Facility started on November 25th, 2019. The SC AIT Facility capacities are mainly designed for the integration and the testing of medium- and large-sized SCs. Moreover, the SC AIT Facility technological equipment flexibility and state-of-the-art testing procedures will enable to ensure the batch mass production of small-sized SCs for multi-satellite orbital constellations.
The following types of products will be manufactured based on the SC AIT Facility capacities:
• the telecommunication SCs (small-, medium- and large-sized);
• the optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) SCs for the Earth remote sensing (small-, medium- and large-sized).
The technological complex is designed for parallel implementation of a complete cycle of assembly, integration and testing of at least four medium — and large -sized SCs. Furthermore, the SC AIT Facility will render services on the assembly, integration and testing of the space equipment (AIT services) for external companies.
